Ecuphar is a product developer and marketer of branded veterinary pharmaceuticals (OTC and registered drugs) for companion animals and farm animals. The company owns and distributes a portfolio of more than 120 products, of which 50% are for companion animals and 50% are for farm animals. The company has its own Product Development Department and several strategic partnerships for R&D and new product development. Furthermore, the company is constantly investigating opportunities to supplement its own-brand product range with associated products through third party alliances.
The company has 2 veterinary activies:
1. ECUPHAR Animal Health Benelux (www.ecuphar.be) is the sales & marketing organisation for the Benelux Area. The BU is a leading distributor with a direct sales force in Belgium and the Netherlands.
2. CARDON Pharmaceuticals is the sales & marketing organisation for export markets. Products are exported via an international distribution network of more than 30 partners, mainly in Europe and Asia. Some of its main partners are well-known companies such as CEVA Animal Health, Janssen Animal Health, Orion Pharma.

Medini is a profitable and well-organised veterinary wholesale business. The company was founded 20 years ago and has a market share of about 15% of the Belgian veterinary wholesale business. This makes Medini one of the biggest veterinary wholesalers in Belgium. Medini has a steady but expanding client base and an excellent reputation as being a customer-oriented, punctual and professional supplier.
